A bit about my approach to therapy
I specialise in working with humans experiencing negative consequences from high-risk substance use, oppositionality, trauma, ADHD, low-motivation, and resistance to treatment/therapy. Underlying pain and shame can prevent us from having a free heart and mind. My approach is trauma-informed with a focus on attachment repair and healing deep wounds. Addressing the entire family system is also imperative to me.
What you can expect from our first session
Un-Solicited Advice drives me crazy. I refrain from telling clients what to do, or how to live. Building a relationship is integral to my practice, as I incorporate laughter, creativity, and non-traditional elements into the work. I am grateful for the experience to witness humans work through pain, suffering, and fear. Clients may leave session feeling A.) Confident to work on the issues they already know they need to work on B.) Emotions, both positive and challenging C.) Joy.
